Made to be beautifully functional, this mug is ideal for your morning coffee, afternoon tea or cozy evening cocoa.

 

The signature mug naming references the subtle Lady E branding colors that adorn this mug, originally designed as an affordable option for the Literary Arts café, a community-based non-profit. Each mug is wheel-thrown with minimal tools and then hand brushed with layers of glaze to build a combination matte and glossy texture for a more tactile experience. The outside green drips calmly to remind us that imperfections can create additional beauty.

 

This process makes each piece unique, supporting quiet contemplation or shared moments with personalized mugs –- a little reminder that even ordinary moments can feel extraordinary when shaped with intention.

 

I hand wash all of my pottery, but as part of the café collection this piece is field-tested to be microwave- and dishwasher-safe, durable enough for long-lasting everyday use.
