Okay, this one was a stretch when requested and I'm still not extremely proficient at any of the three methods I used to create this 12" planter. But I sure learned a lot - from throwing a large saucer to coiling another level then stacking a third, while hand building the moss pole holder I did it all! 
 
Realistically, if I were to try this again (years later), I would probably attempt to throw the entire piece, but thought I would share this crazy part of my journey.
